The highly anticipated film “Indian 2,” directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan in the titular role, has recently revealed its official OTT partner and streaming languages. Amidst widespread excitement surrounding the project, the shooting has been successfully completed, with CGI works remaining pending. Although the makers are yet to provide a clarification on the release date, fans are eagerly awaiting an update on Republic Day from Shankar and his team.
Known as one of the most eagerly awaited projects across Kollywood, Tollywood, and pan-India audiences, “Indian 2” has unveiled a glimpse, building further anticipation. Netflix, a popular OTT platform, has officially acquired the digital streaming rights for “Indian 2,” as announced on their social media accounts.
Post its theatrical release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, “Indian 2” will make its digital debut on Netflix. Additionally, Lyca Productions has revealed that the renowned music label Sony Music has secured the audio rights for the film at a substantial price. The star-studded cast includes SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Brahmanandam, Samuthirakhani, Madhubala, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, among others.
Produced by Udayanidhi Stalin and Subhaskaran under Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, “Indian 2” boasts Anirudh Ravichander’s musical composition. The first look posters have already heightened expectations, and reports suggest that the team shot intense action sequences in Chennai, Los Angeles, Taiwan, and South Africa.
