Balakrishna was a chief guest at a pre-release event for Anjali’s upcoming film “Gangs of Godavari,” which also stars Vishwak Sen and Neha Shetty. In the controversial video, Balakrishna is seen pushing Anjali on stage after she seemingly couldn’t hear him. Anjali’s co-star Neha was visibly shocked, but Anjali laughed off the incident. It’s unclear what Balakrishna said to Anjali before the push.
Despite Anjali’s seemingly unfazed reaction, netizens have criticized Balakrishna for his “disrespectful” behavior towards women.
