A theft was reported at actor Mohan Babu’s residence in Jalpally, where a domestic worker allegedly stole ₹10 lakh in cash. According to police sources, the worker has been arrested for the crime, as confirmed on Thursday.
What Happened?
The incident took place when Mohan Babu’s personal secretary visited the residence on Sunday. The police revealed that the domestic worker allegedly stole the cash from the secretary’s bag. Upon noticing the money was missing, a case was promptly filed at the Pahadishareef police station.
During the investigation, the accused was traced to Tirupati, arrested, and brought back to Hyderabad on Wednesday. While authorities recovered ₹7.36 lakh from the accused, they discovered that the remaining amount had been spent. The investigation is still ongoing, and Mohan Babu has yet to issue a public statement on the matter.
