Naga Chaitanya has delivered a much-needed blockbuster with Thandel, the recently released pan-India romantic drama co-starring Sai Pallavi. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film has grossed over ₹110 crore worldwide, marking the highest collection in the actor’s career.
Riding high on this success, Chaitanya is swiftly gearing up for his next venture, tentatively titled NC24. According to the latest updates, the film’s pre-production is in its final stages, and the shoot is set to begin in the last week of February. Following the massive response to Thandel, NC24 is expected to further strengthen Chay’s presence in the Northern market.
Directed by Virupaksha fame Karthik Varma Dandu, the film is likely to feature Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Bollywood actor Sparsh Shrivastava, known for his role in Laapataa Ladies, is on board as the antagonist. NC24 will be jointly bankrolled by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings, with Kantara fame Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music.
