Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s latest action drama Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, failed to captivate audiences despite high pre-release expectations. The film, which generated buzz prior to its release, underperformed at the box office, leaving fans disappointed.
Netflix, which secured the digital rights to Jigra, is reportedly planning its premiere on December 6, 2024. However, an official announcement from the platform is still awaited.
Jigra features a stellar cast, including Vedang Raina, Manoj Pahwa, Rahul Ravindran, and others in pivotal roles. The film’s music is crafted by Achint Thakkar and Manpreet Singh. Produced under the banners of Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine, the project is backed by Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.
