Hyderabad Police has issued a strict warning against the spread of false information and deceptive videos surrounding the tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre during the Pushpa 2 premiere. A surprise appearance by Allu Arjun at the event reportedly caused chaos, leading to the death of a woman and injuries to others. A case has been registered against the actor, and the investigation is ongoing.

In response to viral videos and unverified claims circulating on social media, the police clarified, “We will take strict action against individuals spreading false information or misleading content regarding the Sandhya Theatre stampede. It has come to our notice that some videos falsely suggest the stampede occurred before Allu Arjun’s arrival.”

The police department has released an official video detailing their findings so far. However, some individuals have allegedly shared manipulated content, attempting to mislead the public. Addressing this, the police emphasized, “Legal action will be taken against those deliberately spreading false propaganda, especially while the investigation is in progress.”

They also highlighted their commitment to resolving the case, which has claimed the life of a woman and impacted a child. “We are thoroughly investigating this tragic incident. We urge the public to refrain from believing or sharing baseless allegations that question the integrity of the police department.”

The statement followed Allu Arjun’s questioning by the Hyderabad Police, which lasted three hours. The actor reportedly faced inquiries about whether he was aware of the police denying permission for his appearance and who decided to proceed despite the restrictions. Questions also addressed the timing of his awareness about the stampede and the victim’s death.

The police concluded with a plea: “We request citizens with valid evidence or additional information to come forward. Avoid spreading personal comments or misinformation on social media.”
