Anee Master Defends Jani Master Amid POCSO Allegations, Calls for Fair Investigation

Choreographer and former Bigg Boss contestant Anee Master has come forward to support her colleague, Jani Master, who is currently under police custody due to a POCSO case. During a press conference in Hyderabad, Anee voiced her concerns over the premature decision to revoke Jani’s National Award while the case is still under investigation. She emphasized that if Jani is proven guilty, he should face the appropriate consequences, but stressed the importance of a fair and unbiased investigation.

Anee expressed confusion over the accusations, particularly pointing out that the same victim had previously spoken positively about Jani Master. Reflecting on her own two-year professional relationship with Jani, she shared that she found him to be positive and respectful, and had not personally encountered any misconduct.

Regarding allegations related to the casting couch in the industry, Anee clarified that she had never faced such situations and found the accusations against Jani unsettling. She also addressed the issue of a dance union card requested by Jani’s wife on behalf of the victim, explaining that its denial was due to union regulations, unrelated to Jani’s role as President of the Dance Association. Supporting Jani Master, members of the Dancers’ Union also defended his character, citing his 25-year contribution to the industry and calling for a just investigation, cautioning against spreading false narratives.
