After a long gap, Tollywood star Anushka Shetty is making a powerful comeback as a solo lead in Ghaati, an intense action thriller directed by Krish. The film also features Vikram Prabhu in a key role and has been crafted on a grand scale for a Pan-India release.
The first glimpse of Ghaati, unveiled last year, showcased Anushka in a fierce and commanding avatar, earning widespread praise and significantly boosting expectations. The film, initially slated to hit screens on April 18, is now rumored to be facing a possible postponement due to delays in post-production.
Touted as a gripping exploration into the darker sides of human nature, Ghaati is a high-stakes cinematic venture. Director Krish took on this ambitious project after stepping away from Hari Hara Veera Mallu midway. Backed by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, the film is being made on a massive budget, with Nagavelli Vidya Sagar composing the music.
Anushka was last seen in Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty (2023), alongside Naveen Polishetty, which received critical appreciation and performed well at the box office.
