Nagarjuna Akkineni couldn’t hide his joy as the Akkineni family gears up for a double celebration. In a recent interview with Zoom, the veteran actor shared exciting updates about his sons—Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni—who are set to tie the knot with Sobhita Dhulipala and Zainab Ravdjee, respectively.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are all set to exchange vows on December 4, 2024, at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. This historic venue, built by Chaitanya’s legendary grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao, adds sentimental value as it coincides with his centennial birth anniversary year.

Speaking about the upcoming wedding, Nagarjuna said, “December 4 is almost here, and we are hosting the ceremony at Annapurna Studios, which my father built. Although we aimed for an intimate celebration, both Chaitanya and Sobhita have large families, so we expect a sizable gathering.”

The couple got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in August, attended by close family and friends. Nagarjuna shared pictures from the engagement on his X handle, delighting fans with the happy news. This will be Naga Chaitanya’s second marriage, following his separation from actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in October 2021.

Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee’s Wedding

While rumors suggested both Akkineni brothers would marry on the same day, Nagarjuna clarified that Akhil’s wedding with Zainab Ravdjee is planned for 2025.

“I am thrilled for Akhil and Zainab. She is a wonderful person, and I’m delighted they’ve decided to spend their lives together. However, their wedding will happen next year,” said Nagarjuna.

Akhil and Zainab’s engagement took place at the family home, attended by close relatives. Zainab, the daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee, is a talented artist who has lived across India, Dubai, and London.

Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Nagarjuna is busy with two upcoming films, Kubera and Coolie. Naga Chaitanya is set to appear in Thandel, while Akhil will star in Hastaara Vedavidhyam. Sobhita Dhulipala, who was last seen in Love, Sitara, continues to captivate audiences with her performances.
