Baahubali, a landmark film in Tollywood that revolutionized Indian cinema, has its producer, Shobu Yarlagadda, in the spotlight for an unsettling reason unrelated to movies.
Shobu recently took to social media to disclose that his WhatsApp account had been hacked. He expressed frustration, revealing that the hacker gained complete control of his account and used it to defraud his contacts. Adding to his distress, WhatsApp’s policies delayed his ability to regain access for 12 hours due to repeated incorrect PIN attempts, allowing the hacker ample time to exploit his network further.
Shobu criticized WhatsApp and its parent company, Meta, for their inadequate support in handling such emergencies. Calling the situation “crazy,” he urged the company to take immediate action to improve their response systems.
As of now, there have been no updates on whether the issue has been resolved. Stay tuned for more details on this developing story.
