Breaking: Telangana Bans Benefit Shows and Ticket Price Hikes Following Tragic Stampede

The tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2 has sparked outrage from the government. A woman named Revathi lost her life in the incident, and her son, Sri Tej, is currently receiving treatment at KIMS Hospital. In today’s Assembly session, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a stunning announcement, which is expected to have a major impact on the industry.

Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy declared, “From now on, benefit shows will not be allowed in the state. Additionally, ticket price hikes will not be permitted.” Chief Minister Revanth Reddy added, “Filmmakers can do business and earn profits, but not at the cost of a life. After such a tragic incident, our government has decided to withdraw any special privileges for the film industry.”

Actor Allu Arjun was briefly arrested in connection with the stampede, but was released after the High Court granted him interim bail. The Chief Minister also criticized the industry, stating, “No celebrity showed any concern for the grieving family. Instead, they focused on visiting Allu Arjun’s residence and posting tweets against the government.”
