Can Odela 2 and Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi turn the tide in Tollywood?

March 2025 saw a flood of good movies in theaters. Be it the spy movie Jack or Good Bad Ugly. The films have not been able to create the buzz , the films were expecting to have. Here’s a look at how they fared.

JACK:

Jack was released on April 10, 2025. It is Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s latest movie. The director of this film is Bommarillu Bhaskar.BVSN Prasad is the producer.Jack is a crime comedy, and Siddhu plays a crucial role. It fell flat from day one, collecting around Rs. 2 crore share so far.

GOOD BAD UGLY:

Good Bad Ugly, smashed the box office  on April 10. The film’s star cast includes Ajith, Trisha in a lead role. It  also features Arjun Das and Priya Prakash Varrier in key roles. The movie is directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Maker has produced the movie. Popular music director GV Prakash Kumar has scored the soundtrack. It also collected around Rs. 100 crore alone in the state.

JAAT:

The movie is Directed by Gopichand Malineni. Jaat released only in Hindi, it opened to mixed reviews and earned Rs. 49 crore net in India and Rs. 58 crore worldwide within five days. The film was made by a Telugu director  and production house.it found no traction in Telugu states.

Odela 2: This Tamannaah Bhatia’s movie is directed by Ashok Teja. The trailer has generated  a lot of buzz and has potential to perform well.

ARJUN S/O OF VYJAYANTHI –This emotional action drama stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, with Vijayashanti. The film is Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri.The film has caused a good amount of attention and people are talking about it.

all hopes are on Odela 2 and Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi. Both films have created good buzz, and if audiences like them, they could also be Blockbuster movies.
