Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava continues its phenomenal box office run, capitalizing on the Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti holiday in Maharashtra. The film raked in a staggering ₹32 crores nett on Wednesday, nearly matching its opening day collection of ₹33 crores nett.
While most films see a drop after their first weekend, Chhaava has defied the norm, securing a place among Bollywood’s top six highest-grossing first Wednesdays of all time. Within just six days, the film has stormed past the ₹200 crore nett mark at the domestic box office.
With this momentum, Chhaava is well on track to surpass ₹400 crores nett. By the weekend, it is expected to become Vicky Kaushal’s highest solo grosser, overtaking Uri: The Surgical Strike. Directed by Laxman Utekar, this historical epic also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
