Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest action drama Daaku Maharaaj opened with strong collections at the box office and maintained a decent run during the weekdays. However, post-Sankranthi festival days, the movie witnessed a notable dip in its earnings, making this weekend pivotal for its overall success.
Trade analysts initially predicted Daaku Maharaaj would join the coveted ₹100 Cr club. Over time, expectations scaled down to ₹90 Cr and have now further reduced to ₹80 Cr. Despite this, the film still has a chance to reach its revised goal with a solid performance this weekend.
To cross the ₹80 Cr mark, Daaku Maharaaj must rake in a ₹4-5 Cr share over the weekend. A strong showing could elevate the film to hit status. However, if the collections fail to pick up, it might settle as an above-average performer at the box office.
