Deepika Padukone has remained notably silent about her journey into motherhood since announcing the arrival of her baby girl on September 8. However, she recently shared a light-hearted Instagram Reel that offers a glimpse into her new life as a mom.

On Monday, Deepika reshared a reel featuring a humorous GIF of someone peeking out from behind curtains and retreating after a brief wave. The video is titled, “If adults ate like newborns,” showcasing a comical scene where a woman wakes up on a couch, makes her way to the kitchen, prepares a meal, and attempts to eat with chaotic enthusiasm at the dining table, only to hilariously pass out after her first bite—complete with the exaggerated movements reminiscent of a newborn.

In a heartwarming update, shortly after her discharge from the hospital, Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh made their first public appearance with their newborn. Deepika’s Instagram bio has also transformed to reflect her new role, now reading, “Feed. Burp. Sleep. Repeat,” providing fans with an adorable insight into their family’s daily routine.

The couple announced their baby girl’s arrival with a heartfelt social media post, expressing their joy with, “Welcome Baby Girl 8.9.2024.
