Devara is set for release on September 27th, and its advance bookings have shown an impressive performance. The opening day advance sales in Hyderabad alone have reached around ₹15 crores, while the total gross in the Telugu states has surpassed ₹35 crores. Globally, Devara’s Day 1 advance bookings have reached an estimated ₹75 crores.
In India, the film’s pre-sales gross stands close to ₹45 crores, with overseas markets contributing another ₹30 crores. The majority of these numbers come from the Telugu version, with other language versions expected to pick up depending on the word of mouth. If Devara receives positive feedback, significant walk-ins can boost its collections further. The film is projected to earn around ₹130 crores worldwide on its first day across all languages.
With these figures, Devara could become one of Tollywood’s biggest openers. NTR and director Koratala Siva have high hopes for the film’s success. For Siva, Devara marks an opportunity to recover from his last film, Acharya. Meanwhile, NTR aims to solidify his position as a Pan-Indian star, with War 2 and NTRNeel lined up to further this goal. All eyes are on Devara as its release approaches.
