Devara is gearing up for its grand release on September 27th, and the advance bookings are showing impressive momentum. In Hyderabad alone, opening day advance sales have reached around Rs. 15 crore, while the total gross for the Telugu states has surpassed Rs. 35 crore. Globally, Devara’s Day 1 advance bookings have hit nearly Rs. 75 crore so far.
The film’s domestic gross stands at around Rs. 45 crore, while overseas pre-sales have contributed an additional Rs. 30 crore. Most of the numbers are driven by the Telugu version, with other language versions relying on positive word-of-mouth to boost ticket sales. If the film garners strong reviews, significant walk-ins are expected. The Day 1 worldwide collection for all versions is projected to be around Rs. 130 crore.
This could make Devara one of the biggest openers in Tollywood history. NTR and director Koratala Shiva have high hopes for the film. After the setback of his previous film Acharya, Koratala Shiva is aiming for a major comeback, while NTR looks to further establish himself as a pan-Indian star, with big projects like War 2 and NTRNeel already lined up. All eyes are on Devara as it prepares for its big day.
