Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, is continuing its strong run at the box office. On its second day, the highly anticipated film maintained momentum, crossing the ₹100 crore mark in India.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film earned ₹82.5 crore (nett) in India on its opening day and registered ₹40 crore (nett) on Day 2, bringing the total to ₹122.19 crore (nett). Released in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada—Devara is proving to be a pan-India success.
On Saturday, the film’s occupancy rates were solid, with 60.23% in the Telugu sector, 18.15% in Hindi, 28.02% in Kannada, 24.89% in Tamil, and 15.95% in Malayalam, indicating strong engagement across regions.
Devara: Part 1 marks Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years, following 2018’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. He was last seen in the global hit RRR alongside Ram Charan in 2022. Recently, Jr NTR took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude to his fans and the Devara team for the overwhelming support.
He wrote, “The day I had been waiting for is finally here… Overwhelmed by your incredible reactions,” adding, “To my fans, witnessing your celebrations for Devara makes me so elated. Forever indebted for your love. Glad you’re enjoying it as much as I did. I promise to keep entertaining you all.” Jr NTR also thanked the film’s team for their hard work in bringing Devara: Part 1 to life.
