Koratala Siva’s Devara: Part 1, featuring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to hit theaters on September 27. Ahead of its release, the film will be showcased at the Beyond Fest in Los Angeles on September 26, with Jr NTR attending the screening in the US.
During a conversation about the film, Jr NTR expressed how Devara: Part 1 is centered around him, especially after sharing the screen with Ram Charan in their previous film, SS Rajamouli’s RRR. In a clip shared by Gulte, the host noted that while RRR was a doubleheader, Devara is solely focused on Jr NTR. He humorously replied, “It’s me and me,” and added, “You’ve got Devara the father, and you’ve got Varada the son. I really don’t want to give too much away, as it’s just two days until release, but it’s a rollercoaster journey of a father and son.”
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Devara also shared highlights from Jr NTR’s attendance at a free screening of RRR during the festival. They wrote, “Way beyond LOVE… And endless HAILS for this man… @Tarak9999.” The video captured the audience giving the actor a warm welcome as he took the stage after the screening, showcasing their enthusiastic reactions during the trailer screening of Devara: Part 1 with cheers and applause.
