Dhanush’s milestone 50th film, “Raayan,” which also marks his second directorial venture, is set to hit cinemas this Friday. The action thriller features SJ Suryah in a pivotal role.
However, the Telugu-dubbed version of “Raayan” is generating little buzz. Advance bookings are disappointing, and the trailer has not resonated well with the Telugu audience. The film’s success now hinges precariously on positive word of mouth.
The ensemble cast includes Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Produced by Sun Pictures, “Raayan” features a score composed by AR Rahman.
