Martin, the much-anticipated action thriller starring Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja, finally hit theaters today, October 11. Directed by AP Arjun and produced by Uday K Mehta Productions and Vasavi Enterprises, the film has generated significant online buzz since its announcement. Released in 13 languages worldwide, including English, Martin boasts a stellar cast featuring Vaibhavi Shandilya, Anveshi Jain, Nawab Shah, and more.
Fans celebrated the release with enthusiasm, and the film has been receiving positive feedback from both critics and audiences. However, some fans in Karnataka and Telangana were disappointed when morning shows of Martin were canceled at certain cinemas without prior notice. Many took to social media platform X to express their frustrations about the unexpected cancellations.
In a heartwarming gesture, Dhruva Sarja arranged a special screening of Martin on October 11 at Gemini Cinema in Bandra, Mumbai, to honor the birthday of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
At the recent pre-release event held in Davanagere, Karnataka, director AP Arjun praised the cast for their dedication, particularly Dhruva Sarja. The director shared how Dhruva endured hours of sitting for tattoo application, enduring the discomfort despite the smell causing headaches.
Martin marks the second collaboration between Dhruva Sarja and AP Arjun, following the success of their debut film Addhuri. Dhruva has previously appeared in hit films such as Bahaddur, Bharjari, and Pogaru. He is set to star next in the highly anticipated action thriller KD: The Devil, which is slated for release in November 2024. Directed by Prem, the film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Jisshu Sengupta, Nora Fatehi, Ramesh Aravind, and V Ravichandran.
