Released on Independence Day with a grand premiere, Aay—a lively village drama—has quickly resonated with audiences. The film’s humor has been particularly well-received, leading to packed theaters and increasing attendance each day.
On its third day, Aay surpassed the earnings from its first two days, which is excellent news for the filmmakers. To meet the high demand, 14 additional shows have been scheduled in Hyderabad multiplexes, with plans to expand screenings across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana starting tomorrow. If the current momentum continues, the film is expected to post impressive numbers on Monday as well.
Directed by Anji K Maniputhra, Aay features Narne Nithiin, Nayan Sarika, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Ankith Koyya, Vinod Kumar, Mime Gopi, and others in key roles. Produced by Bunny Vas and Vidya Koppineedi, the film boasts music by Ram Miriyala and Ajay Arasada.
