Mollywood actor Fahadh Faasil, known for his outstanding performances, is riding high on the success of his latest film, Aavesham, which has surpassed Rs. 150 crore at the box office.
In a recent interview, Fahadh Faasil made waves on social media with his comments about Pushpa. When asked about the pan-Indian recognition he received after his role in the film, he straightforwardly said, “No, I don’t think ‘Pushpa’ did anything for me. I told Sukumar sir that. I don’t have to hide it. I have to be honest. I’m doing my stuff here (Mollywood). No disrespect to anything.”
Fahadh explained his perspective further, stating, “People expect magic from me after ‘Pushpa’… no. It’s pure collaboration and love for Sukumar Sir. My work is here in Malayalam cinema. Very clearly, my stuff is here.”
Despite his candid remarks, Fahadh Faasil’s role in Pushpa 2: The Rule as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat IPS is expected to have more prominence compared to the first installment. Fans are eagerly looking forward to his intense showdown with Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun, set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated sequel.
