Family Star, the newest film starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, had a fair start.
On April 5, 2024, the film Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, was finally released in cinemas. The picture didn’t make enough money on its third day and saw a tiny decline in its revenue from theatres despite the tremendous anticipation.
The movie grossed Rs 3 crore on its third day in India, bringing its total earnings to Rs 11.95 crore. In the Telugu version, Family Star’s overall occupancy rate was 269,94%, whereas in the Tamil version, it was 19.83%.
The movie didn’t draw in many viewers even though it was the weekend and hadn’t had any major releases yet. One day before to its release in India, on April 4, the movie had its US premiere.
On Tuesday, April 2, the movie received certification, and images of the certificate quickly gained popularity online. Family Star is two hours, forty-three minutes and twenty seconds long, according to the photographs that went viral.
The Censor Board has recommended five edits, including a sequence that uses an excessive amount of liquor labels and five swear words.
