Gaami, the upcoming film starring Vishwak Sen, has been generating a lot of excitement ahead of its release on March 8th. The film is poised for a strong opening, with impressive US premiere numbers and promising advance booking trends domestically.
Directed by Vidyadhar Kagita, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Pratyush Vatyam, Gaami has captured the attention of Tollywood enthusiasts due to its stunning visuals and top-notch production values.
While Gaami has the potential to transcend regional boundaries and become a pan-India project like Kantara, the makers have decided to focus on its Telugu release for now. Despite the universal appeal evident in the trailer and posters, the team is opting for a Telugu-first approach to avoid further delays.
Vishwak Sen mentioned that the unit didn’t explore other languages to avoid prolonging the production schedule, which has already been in progress for some time. Instead, they are considering following the strategy of Kantara, which saw success with staggered releases in multiple languages.
With hopes high for the Telugu version’s success, the team aims to leverage the buzz generated to eventually expand into other language releases. Stay tuned for more updates on Gaami’s journey post-release.
