“Game Changer,” the highly anticipated collaboration between Ram Charan and Shankar, created significant buzz when it was announced nearly three years ago. The grand launch saw attendance from stars across Tollywood, Kollywood, and Bollywood. However, numerous delays and a lack of updates have caused the initial excitement to wane. Aside from die-hard fans, interest in the project has dwindled, primarily due to poor promotional efforts.
In the past two years, only two major updates have been released: the title reveal and the “Jaragandi” song. Unfortunately, the “Jaragandi” song failed to meet expectations, with Thaman’s music and Prabhu Deva’s choreography facing heavy criticism.
Shankar and his team have struggled to generate buzz. Their recent project, “Indian 2,” also had disappointing openings, highlighting their promotional shortcomings. Despite the poor outcome of “Indian 2,” Shankar’s team seems to have not learned from their mistakes. Even for Kiara Advani’s birthday poster, they reused an image from the “Jaragandi” song, prompting fans to question Sri Venkateswara Creations and Shankar’s creativity and effort.
“Game Changer” is set for release this year, but no teaser has been released, adding to the growing frustration among fans.
