Today marks the theatrical release of two highly anticipated Sankranthi films, namely, “Guntur Kaaram” and “Hanuman.” Notably, “Hanuman” had a grand premiere in various parts of the Telugu states yesterday, setting the stage for its official release, while “Guntur Kaaram” hit the big screens today.
In terms of the digital realm, both films have successfully secured deals with major OTT platforms. “Guntur Kaaram” has entrusted its post-theatrical OTT streaming rights to Netflix. The film is set to be available for streaming on Netflix at least four weeks after its theatrical debut, catering to audiences in multiple languages. On the other hand, “Hanuman,” with its pan-Indian theatrical release, has partnered with ZEE5 as its OTT streaming platform. Similar to its counterpart, “Hanuman” will be accessible in multiple languages on the ZEE5 platform.
As these two films make their debut on the big screen, their immediate focus lies on captivating the Sankranthi box office. With an eye on the festive crowds, both “Guntur Kaaram” and “Hanuman” aim to deliver a memorable cinematic experience and celebrate the joyous occasion of Sankranthi with their audience.
