Despite numerous unverified reports suggesting that the highly anticipated film “HanuMan” would debut on the OTT platform ZEE5 on March 8, the release did not materialize, leaving many disappointed. ZEE5 clarified that they had not received any information regarding the digital premiere.
However, for Hindi-speaking audiences, there is good news. The Hindi dubbed version of “HanuMan” is set to release on March 16 on Jio Cinema, as confirmed by the streaming platform. Interestingly, the world television premiere of the Hindi version is also scheduled for the same day.
The success of the Hindi version of “HanuMan” is noteworthy, having garnered over 50 crores nett at the box office, a remarkable achievement considering the absence of established stars in the cast. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film stars Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles, with Vinay Rai portraying the antagonist.
