Happy Diwali 2024: Celebrate the Festival of Lights with Joy and Prosperity

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is one of India’s most cherished and celebrated festivals. This festival of lights holds a special significance in the hearts of millions, celebrated with immense enthusiasm and joy. According to Hindu mythology, Diwali marks the day Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman returned to Ayodhya after a 14-year exile, having defeated the demon king Ravana.

Diwali falls on the 15th day of the month of Kartik in the Hindu lunar calendar, coinciding with the darkest night of the year. This year, Diwali will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31. The festivities span five days, beginning with Dhanteras and concluding with Bhai Dooj. Today, October 30, is Choti Diwali, also known as Naraka Chaturdashi.

Here are some heartfelt wishes, SMS, and social media statuses to share with your loved ones this Diwali:

  • “May the lights of Diwali diyas fill your home with wealth, happiness, and everything that brings you joy! Wishing you and your family a very happy Diwali!”
