Hyderabad Curfew Puts Pushpa 2 Promotions in Jeopardy Ahead of December Release

Icon Star Allu Arjun is set to return to the big screen with the eagerly awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar and scheduled for a grand release on December 5, 2024. However, promotional efforts may face a hurdle due to a recently imposed curfew in Telangana, lasting from October 28 to November 28, 2024. This order, enforced by the Commissioner of Police, restricts gatherings of five or more people, along with processions, dharnas, and public meetings across Hyderabad and Secunderabad, aiming to maintain order amidst potential unrest.

This restriction poses a unique challenge for the Pushpa 2 team, who had planned to hold a significant pre-release event in Hyderabad to generate buzz ahead of the film’s release. With these limitations in place, producers may explore alternative options, including relocating the event to Andhra Pradesh or adopting creative promotional strategies to connect with fans.
