Jailer 2 Set for Official Announcement: Sequel to Begin Production Soon

“Jailer” marked a massive comeback for Rajinikanth, with Nelson Dileepkumar hinting at a sequel in the film. This action entertainer became South India’s highest-grossing film of 2023, surpassing major releases like “Leo” and “Salaar.”

Following the blockbuster success of “Jailer,” Nelson Dileepkumar has been focused on writing the sequel, with pre-production now in its final stages. The official project announcement is expected soon.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s “Vettiyan” is set to release this year, and his next project, “Coolie,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is already in production.
