This Friday, moviegoers worldwide will experience Jr NTR’s powerful performance in Devara: Part 1. Directed by Siva Koratala, this highly anticipated mass entertainer has generated considerable buzz. The film marks the third time Koratala has collaborated with Jr NTR as a writer and the second time as a director, raising high expectations among fans.
In a recent interview with Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar, Jr NTR shared insights about the decision to split Devara into two parts. Originally, the team had no intention of making a two-part film. However, as more characters and storylines emerged, Jr NTR encouraged Koratala to keep writing, which led to an unexpectedly extensive narrative.
Jr NTR also praised Saif Ali Khan’s performance, stating it reminded him of Omkara, bringing a similar intensity. He hinted that this could be one of Saif’s most remarkable roles in recent times, adding to the excitement surrounding the film’s complex characters.
The decision to split the film came after their editor, Srikant Prasad, informed the team that the movie had already reached a five-hour runtime before even completing the first half of the shoot. Immersed in the story, the filmmakers realized they had enough material for two parts, which excited fans even more.
With Devara: Part 1 set to release soon, audiences are eagerly awaiting to see what Jr NTR and Siva Koratala have created.
