KA Day 6 Box Office: Kiran Abbavaram’s Film ‘K’ Earns ₹17.15 Crore, Eyes ₹50 Crore Mark

Young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s film K (KA), which hit the screens as a Diwali release, is making a strong impact at the box office. The film, set against a village backdrop and packed with suspense and thriller elements, features Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram as the leading actresses. Directed by the duo Sujeeth and Sandeep, K is produced by Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Sri Chakras Entertainment.

After its release on October 31, K earned positive reviews right from its first show and showed a significant box-office performance. The film, which had to face tough competition from movies like Amaran, Bagira, Lucky Basker, as well as Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in Hindi, has managed to earn a great response. On its opening day, the film collected ₹3.8 crore in India, and when the overseas collections were included, it made a total of ₹6.18 crore on Day 1.

As the movie entered its second day, it managed to earn ₹3 crore, and by the third day (weekend), collections surged significantly, with ₹3.75 crore at the Indian box office. This strong performance continued into the fourth day as well, with another ₹3.75 crore collection. Despite this strong start, collections started dipping slightly from Day 5 onwards, with the fifth day seeing a drop to ₹1.6 crore (approximately 60% drop). On Day 6 (November 5), the collections further decreased to ₹1.5 crore, bringing the total to ₹17.15 crore at the Indian box office.

In terms of global earnings, the movie has crossed ₹35 crore in total gross collections.

Looking at the theater occupancy, K had an overall occupancy of 31.87% on Day 6 in the Telugu states. The occupancy for the morning shows was 18.90%, 32.85% for the afternoon shows, 32.42% for the first shows, and 43.32% for the night shows.

While the film saw a drop in occupancy and collections compared to the weekend, it still holds strong, and trade analysts predict that the movie will easily cross ₹50 crore by the end of the weekend, considering its positive word of mouth and the upcoming days of box office run.
