Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi dystopian epic, “Kalki 2898 AD,” featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, hit theatres on June 27 to a strong reception. Despite an 18.5% dip in collections on Tuesday, the film has amassed ₹371 crore net in India.
The film made an impressive debut with ₹362.96 crore across all languages in its first six days. It opened with ₹95.3 crore, followed by ₹59.3 crore on Friday. Weekend earnings were robust at ₹66.2 crore and ₹88.2 crore. Despite a 61% decline on Monday, with collections totaling ₹34.15 crore, the film continued to perform well, recording ₹27.85 crore on Tuesday.
Internationally, “Kalki 2898 AD” also saw strong business, grossing ₹625 crore in five days.
