“Kalki 2898 AD” has been an extremely profitable venture for Vyjayanthi Movies, achieving milestones in both domestic and international markets. One of its biggest achievements has been maintaining high occupancy rates as it approaches its fourth weekend.
Recently, “Kalki 2898 AD” set another massive record by recording 1 lakh footfalls at AMB Cinemas, making it the most-watched film at this venue. The film’s gross collection at AMB Cinemas stands at around ₹3.7 Cr. SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” holds the highest-grossing record at AMB with a ₹4 Cr collection but fell just short of the 1 lakh footfall mark with 99,723 tickets.
In the USA, “Kalki 2898 AD” has crossed the $18M mark (₹150 Cr), becoming the second Indian film to achieve this milestone after “Baahubali 2,” both starring Prabhas. The film is set for another big weekend at the Indian box office, having already collected close to ₹950 Cr worldwide and expected to approach ₹1000 Cr by this weekend.
