The team behind “Kalki 2898 AD” has issued legal notices against Bollywood critics Sumit Kadel and Rohit Jaiswal for their misleading tweets regarding the film’s box office numbers. Both critics admitted that the numbers released by the production house were fake. In response, the makers of “Kalki 2898 AD” demanded Rs 25 crores from each critic for their derogatory tweets and requested a daily breakeven report of collections per territory. If the explanation is not convincing, the team will enforce the Rs 25 crore demand. Following the legal action, the tweets were promptly deleted from the critics’ official handles.
“Kalki 2898 AD” is performing exceptionally well at the box office, maintaining its success into the fourth week. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the team has also announced a sequel, with filming set to begin soon.
