Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, made history as the third Telugu film to surpass the 1000 crore mark, following Baahubali: The Conclusion and RRR. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this mythological sci-fi entertainer also features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles.
Ahead of the film’s release, the creators launched an animated series offering a glimpse into the world of Kalki. The first two episodes introduced the specially designed vehicle Bujji (voiced by Keerthy Suresh) and Bhairava (played by Prabhas), depicting their initial meeting and blossoming friendship. Nag Ashwin revealed plans to release two additional episodes post-movie release.
Currently in the USA for promotional events, Nag Ashwin shared insights during a special screening. “In the upcoming episodes of Bujji and Bhairava, we will unveil ‘Flux Lands,’ the fourth world in Kalki. The movie features Kasi, Shambala, and Complex as the other three worlds. When Sumathi (played by Deepika Padukone) is taken to Shambala, concerns arise about her safety,” he elaborated.
Veeran (played by Pasupathy) suggests relocating Sumathi to Flux Lands if danger persists, promising further exploration of this new realm in the upcoming episodes. However, the release dates for these episodes remain uncertain.
