Nag Ashwin’s dystopian sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD has surpassed the ₹500 crore mark in India. According to sacnilk.com, the film, which stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, earned ₹506.87 crore on its 11th day of release.
The film, released in theatres on June 27, has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. On its 11th day, Kalki 2898 AD garnered around ₹41.17 crore (nett) in India across all languages. This brought the total Indian collection to ₹506.87 crore.
The sci-fi epic saw an increase in box office earnings in India over the weekend, marking a strong second weekend since its release. Kalki 2898 AD opened with a remarkable ₹95.3 crore on June 27 and amassed ₹414.85 crore in its first week. On Day 10, the film earned ₹34.15 crore. Despite a slight dip during the week, it regained momentum over the weekend.
Globally, the multilingual 3D spectacle has entered the ₹800 crore club, showcasing its widespread appeal and success.
