Kannappa Teaser Unveiled: Vishnu Manchu’s Star-Studded Film Impresses at Cannes

Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa is generating buzz due to its stellar cast, featuring top stars Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Mohanlal. This prestigious project, produced on a grand scale, recently showcased its teaser at the Cannes Film Festival to phenomenal acclaim. Today, the makers held a special event in Hyderabad to launch the teaser digitally.

The teaser begins with Kalamukha, the head of a tribe, ordering his men to uproot a Shiva Linga. Kannappa, portrayed by Vishnu Manchu, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, fiercely defends the Linga by killing Kalamukha’s men. Shocked by Kannappa’s prowess, Kalamukha realizes the might of his opponent. The teaser highlights Kannappa’s powerful entry and action-packed sequences.

Kannappa appears to be an ambitious project with a strong emphasis on action. The teaser leaves us with intriguing questions: Why are the tribal people warring with Kannappa? What role does Mohan Babu play? Answers to these questions will be revealed in due time. Notably, Akshay Kumar is seen as Lord Shiva, while Prabhas makes a brief appearance.

The film features Priety Mukundan as the female lead and is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for his work on the Maha Bharat serial. Mohan Babu is producing Kannappa under the banners of 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment, with music composed by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy.
