Young actor Kiran Abbavaram, known for his impressive early films like “Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru” and “SR Kalyanamandapam,” experienced a series of flops that significantly impacted his market standing. Taking a break to reflect on his career, Kiran is now set for a strong comeback with his upcoming film “KA.”
The teaser of “KA” has garnered significant attention, marking it as the costliest film of Kiran’s career. In a strategic move, Kiran has opted to forgo his remuneration and instead share in the profits, as the producers invested heavily in the film. The theatrical rights of “KA” have been sold for an estimated Rs 13-14 crores, while the non-theatrical rights are expected to fetch Rs 8 crores, bringing the total pre-release business to over Rs 20 crores— the highest in Kiran’s career. With a production budget of Rs 18 crores, the film is poised to be profitable even before its release.
In “KA,” Kiran Abbavaram plays the role of a postman in a supernatural thriller directed by Sujeeth and Sandeep. The film promises eight twists, with the pre-climax and climax episodes being the highlights. “KA” is expected to hit theaters in September this year
