The excitement surrounding Mad Square, the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Mad, has reached new heights. Ever since its announcement, the film has generated immense buzz, and the recently released teaser has only amplified expectations. With an electrifying mix of comedy and chaos, Mad Square is all set to storm the box office.
Initially scheduled for release on Saturday, March 29, the makers have now decided to advance the release by a day to Friday, March 28, 2025. This strategic move was made based on distributor requests, ensuring a stronger opening weekend and maximizing audience turnout.
Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi confirmed the decision, stating, “At the request of our distribution partners, we have decided to release Mad Square a day earlier, on March 28. Though we had no plans to alter the date, March 29 falls on Amavasya (new moon), and our distributors felt an earlier release would be ideal. We are happy with this decision and also extend our best wishes to Robinhood, which is releasing on the same day. This summer is going to be filled with laughter and entertainment!”
Following the phenomenal success of Lucky Bhaskar and Daaku Maharaj, Sitara Entertainments is eyeing a third consecutive blockbuster with Mad Square. Known for delivering back-to-back hits, the production house is confident that this sequel will replicate the success of Tillu Square and become a massive box office sensation.
Produced by Harika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya, Mad Square is backed by Sitara Entertainments, Sri Kira Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Suryadevara Naga Vamsi presenting the film.
Helming the project once again is Kalyan Shankar, who made a mark with his engaging storytelling and quirky humor in Mad. With Mad Square, he promises an even bigger rollercoaster ride of entertainment, packed with hilarious moments and unpredictable twists.
The original cast—Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, and Vishnu Oi (Laddu)—returns, bringing even more madness and fun to the screen.
Adding to the excitement, Reba John will appear in a special song, while K.V. Anudeep and Priyanka Jawalkar play pivotal roles.
Behind the scenes, the film boasts a stellar technical crew:
With sky-high expectations, Mad Square is poised to make a grand entrance in theaters on March 28, 2025. Fans can expect a wild and laughter-filled ride, as the film gears up to take over the big screen. Stay tuned for more exciting updates on this much-awaited sequel!
