Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam, directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, struggled at the box office after its February 2024 release. In a recent interview, Aishwarya Rajinikanth shared exciting news about the OTT release. She revealed that an extended director’s cut of the film will soon be available on streaming platforms. This version will feature significant additions, including previously lost footage, setting it apart from the theatrical release.

Aishwarya emphasized that the extended cut will remain true to the original vision of the film. Notably, AR Rahman has rescored the extended version without extra charge, further enhancing its appeal.
