Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty’s family entertainer, Manamey, released in cinemas worldwide on Friday. Despite mixed reviews, the film registered decent collections on its first day, with an estimated distributor share of Rs 1.45 crore in the Andhra, Nizam, and Ceded regions.
However, Manamey witnessed a significant jump on its second day. According to trends on the leading ticketing app BookMyShow, the film saw a 33 percent increase on Saturday, with nearly 68,000 tickets sold, compared to about 55,000 tickets on Friday. Family audiences are showing strong support for the movie, bolstered by positive word of mouth.
With Sunday advance bookings showing promising trends, the makers and distributors have added more shows across the twin Telugu states. Directed by Sriram Adittya and produced by TG Vishwaprasad under his People Media Factory banner, Manamey is poised for a successful run.
