Garnering rave reviews post-release, the film has crossed the coveted 100 crores gross mark worldwide, surpassing records set by blockbusters like “Lucifer” and “2018” to become the official industry hit.
Breaking new ground, “Manjummel Boys” soared to become the first Malayalam film to gross over 200 crores worldwide, also eclipsing the overseas gross previously held by “2018” with an impressive $8.3 million compared to its $8.26 million mark. Its global collections now stand close to 205 crores gross.
While “2018” still holds the domestic market record with 89 crores gross, “Manjummel Boys” has made a significant mark with 64 crores gross, largely propelled by its phenomenal performance in Tamil Nadu. The film revolves around a group of friends embroiled in a gripping tale of rescue when one of their own gets trapped in a deep cave, depicting their relentless efforts to secure his release with its exceptional performance, there are even talks of a dubbed release in Telugu in the near future.
