According to the film’s PR team, Mathu Vadalara 2 opened strong at the global box office, grossing an impressive Rs 5.30 crore on its first day. This marks a significant opening for a film of this scale. Advance bookings for the weekend look promising, and the movie is expected to perform well at ticket counters both in India and overseas.
In North America, the film raked in a solid $300K on its opening day and is projected to reach $500K by the weekend. At this pace, it could surpass the $1.5 million mark by the end of its run.
Directed by young filmmaker Ritesh Rana and produced under the Clap Entertainment and Mythri Movie Makers banners, Mathu Vadalara 2 also features star comedians Sunil and Vennela Kishore in key roles.
