Tollywood icon Megastar Chiranjeevi is set to receive the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award at a ceremony in Rashtrapathi Bhavan, Delhi, tomorrow. This award is the second-highest civilian honor in India, and its announcement on January 25th sent waves of joy through the Tollywood community.
Chiranjeevi is only the second Tollywood actor to be awarded the Padma Vibhushan, after Akkineni Nageswar Rao, and the seventh actor in India to receive this accolade. He previously received the Padma Bhushan award in 2006. Joining him at the ceremony will be Surekha Garu, Megapower Star Ram Charan, and Upasana.
This recognition is a proud moment for mega fans across the globe. On the work front, Chiranjeevi will next appear in the film “Vishwambhara,” scheduled for a grand release on January 10, 2025.
