Megha Akash (born October 26, 1995) is an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Lie in 2017. Her Tamil film debut came with Petta, and she ventured into Hindi cinema with Satellite Shankar, both in 2019. She has also appeared in Raja Raja Chora (2021) and Dear Megha (2021).

Early Life

Megha was born on October 26, 1995, in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, to a Telugu father and a Malayali mother. Both of her parents work in the advertising industry. She attended Lady Andal School in Chennai and graduated with a B.Sc. in Visual Communications from Women’s Christian College, Chennai.

Career

Megha began her career with the Tamil film Oru Pakka Kathai, which premiered on ZEE5 on December 25, 2020. Fluent in Tamil, she did her own dubbing for the film. Her debut in Telugu cinema came with Lie in 2017. She made her Tamil debut with Petta (2019), although she had already filmed for Enai Noki Paayum Thota (2019) prior to its release.

She has also starred in two Telugu films, Raja Raja Chora as Sanjana and Dear Megha as Megha.
