Mohan Babu harshly criticized Manoj, claiming that he had become a slave to alcohol and was misbehaving under the influence, even physically attacking domestic workers. It is well-known that Manoj’s career has not been successful. He has largely withdrawn from acting, with his first marriage failing and his second marriage disapproved by Mohan Babu. However, after the second marriage, there were some positive changes in Manoj’s life. He had a daughter, appeared in a TV show, and even played a significant role in the film Mirai.
