In a candid interview with a national media outlet, Chay’s father, veteran actor Nagarjuna, spoke for the first time about his son’s separation from Samantha and his newfound happiness with Sobhita. Nagarjuna revealed that Chaitanya was “depressed” after his split from Samantha but has now found joy again with Sobhita.
Nagarjuna shared that the engagement ceremony went smoothly and expressed his relief at seeing his son happy once more. He acknowledged that the separation was a difficult period for Chaitanya, who tends to keep his emotions private. The proud father also mentioned that the family is thrilled to see Chay smiling again and described Chaitanya and Sobhita as a “wonderful couple” who “love each other dearly.”
