Shekhar Kammula teams up with Tamil superstar Dhanush for a pan-Indian project titled “Kubera.” The movie tells the story of a beggar from Dharavi who rises to become a feared mafia don. Rashmika Mandanna plays Dhanush’s romantic interest, while the role of Akkineni Nagarjuna is shrouded in secrecy, adding an element of surprise.
However, a reliable source reveals that Nagarjuna will portray a powerful police officer in “Kubera,” a role he hasn’t undertaken since 2003’s “Shivamani” directed by Puri Jagannadh. This comeback in a full-length cop role is sure to excite fans and add to the film’s allure.
The film’s first look, released some time ago, was met with enthusiasm by audiences online. Devi Sri Prasad, also known as “Rock Star,” provides the film’s music, handling both the background score and songs. Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao from Asian Group are producing the film, in partnership with Amigos Creations Pvt. Ltd.
With its engaging storyline, stellar cast, and creative team, “Kubera” is shaping up to be an eagerly anticipated pan-Indian project. Keep an eye out for more updates as the film develops and the cast’s roles are further unveiled.
